- Model answer of your application letter.
- Dear Ms Clairmont
- I am writing to apply for the post of tour leader with your
company. At present, I am in the
final year of an Economics course at Bologna University.
- I am very interested in working as a tour leader as I believe that I
have the qualities and experience necessary for the job. Firstly, I
speak ltalian and French fluently, as well as English. Secondly, as
president of the university cycling club I am used to organising outings
and events for large groups of people. Thirdly, I have already done some
part-time work for a local travel agency during the holidays, so have
some experience of planning travel schedules and arranging
accommodation. ln addition, as this is my final year at college, I would
be available for work beyond the summer period.
- I would appreciate it if you could send me more details. I would like to know when the job
would begin, where the students are from and where the study tours are
based. Would knowledge of a
specific language be required? Could you also send me more information
about the hours of work and salary?
- I am available for interview from next week. I look forward to hearing from you.
Yours sincerely
